Ghost Hunt Season 1 Devlog #3

 

Hey guy, I’m feeling like crap so instead of making a video I’m just going to write this weeks devlog. Let’s begin so what did I accomplish? As some of you might remember last week my main goal was to get a halfway working AI, I’m proud to say “mission accomplished”. The base AI is now smart enough to check under tables, open doors, crawl into small opening, ambush and play dead so I can’t wait to see all of you play it!

Moving forward I’ll be working on getting the teaser level out for you guys. It should give you a rough overview of the game play and should last about 5 -10 minutes. Below are some picture of the first pass

At this point I’m blocking out the level, adding the base textures and testing for “flow” making sure you the player will have an easy time moving around without any weird nav or physics issues. I hope to have the teaser level ready to ship out for PC/Mac in the next four weeks.

Some basic system requirements at this point:

Intel i5 – 4th gen and up

4gb ram (Without level streaming so longer load times… this will change)

R9 380x or 1050

Windows 10/OS X high sierra

(all tested)

Recommended:

Intel i7 8700k

32gb ram (Over kill but great level streaming)
